Dear Eileen, I'm so sorry to hear of your husband, Dave, passing. I don't know if you remember me, I'm Verna Antonsen's daughter, Karen. You worked with my mom at her home on Park Terrace. My mom passed away four years ago. I just wanted to pass on my sympathy for your loss. I only met Dave a few times, but he was always so full of life, laughter and love for you and his children. I'm sure your memories will comfort you, as will your children. love, Karen and the Antonsen family

Eileen and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a great guy and was always in such a good mood. I've had the pleasure of working with Dave for as long as he's been with the government and he will be missed.
As Elvis would say: “ ‘Til we meet you again, may God bless you. Adios.”

To David and Family;
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I will always remember Dave as the guy who would get up and sing his heart out at karaoke, and how he would bring that same enthusiasm to the much less exciting day to day work for the government. Dave will truly be missed.

I knew Dave through work some 10 years ago when we started and had so much in common with military life. He had such a great sense of humour and loved music and singing. He was very kind and supportive of my family. I'll always remember his friendship and wish to express my condolences to Dave's family.

I have worked with David for over 10 years and will miss him very much. David had a great sense of humor and was always kind and giving. When St Peter opens the pearly gates David will probably give his famous line "Thank you, thank you very much" So Daivd, I just want to say Thank you, thank you very much. You will be missed and remembered with fondness.

I knew & worked with Dave for 3 years in Federal Government. It was short, far way too short.

I will never forget the first time that Dave taught me how to do a certain procedure. This was taking place in such a tiny (8 feet by 8 feet) room. During this time, his quirky & folksy 'teaching style' along with his loud deep laughter were some of many admirable things about Dave that I will never forget. :)

Dave was indeed an unique guy. He will definitely be missed by many!

I consider it a blessing that I was very lucky enough to get to know him in the first place.

May God bless him.

I knew David only through the bus we shared riding to and from work, but I feel that I have lost a good friend. He brought light, laughter and hope into every day, and I shall miss him dearly.

Dear Vecqueray family.

I am so sorry to hear of Daves passing. I worked with him and always enjoyed his easy smile, ready laughter and the way he found humor in just about anything. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with you at this time.
