My thoughts are with you all. I will always remember how friendly David was to me, when I was in high school with Stephen. Then reconnecting again, many years later, through the UVic radio station as well as social gatherings. My thoughts are with you, Stephen, Vanessa, and Christine.

Many years ago, I worked with David, bookkeeping for the Rising Star Bakeries and then for a while at his own bakery in Oak Bay. He was a very nice man, and I'm sure he will be missed.

David will be remembered as the quintessential English man in every sense of the word. It was a great pleasure to regard him as a good friend and for my ex-wife and I to have enjoyed many memorable times with him and his family, particularly around the activities of the S.I.F.D. in Victoria.
He will be long remembered! Rest in peace, my good buddy!
