Deirdre Lang Obituary
LANG, Deirdre Joan May 31, 1923 June 15, 2010 Predeceased by her husband Melushe and sister Daphne. Deirdre was a committed scientist and enjoyed a rewarding career at Montreal's McGill University. Upon retiring to Victoria she quietly became a staunch defender of the "forgotten " and the defenceless. Deirdre strongly believed each of us has the responsibility to take someone in need under a wing, and she made no distinction between people and animals. She was a generous and loyal friend and mentor and will be dearly missed by many more than we know. With close friends nearby, Deirdre passed peacefully away while she slept. Off to new adventures. Fare well dear friend. Nigella 250-995-2787 601561
