Loving Memory of Denis George Meier
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denis George Meier, who left us on November 17, 2023 to embark on a new journey beyond this world. He departed peacefully, surrounded by the love and warmth of family.
Denis George Meier was born on February 16, 1942 to David and Lydia Meier in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he spent his early years and laid the foundation for a life filled with remarkable experiences and cherished memories.
Denis and his wife Judith moved to Victoria in 1974 with their children Matthew and Morgan to start a new life.
Throughout his lifetime, Denis touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and sense of humour. He was known for his commitment to his family
In the early years of his retirement, Denis was an avid golfer and a member of the Cordova Bay Golf Course, he was a car enthusiast and had a great fondness for sarcasm and witty jokes.
Denis was predeceased by his wife Judith Meier very recently. He will be greatly missed by his son, Matthew (Jolin) Meier and daughter Morgan Kozyn. He will be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren Dominique, Sophia, Maddison, Jacob, Raven, Rachel and Ryann. Denis also leaves behind four great-grandsons.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided support and care during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
Denis George Meier has now found peace, and has been rejoined with his spouse Judith Ann Meier. His laughter, quick wit and fondness of storytelling will be missed by all.
A joint celebration of life for Denis and Judith Meier will be held at their family home, 645 Cairndale Road Victoria, BC on December 2, 2023 from noon to 4 pm.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your loving parents, grandparents and great- grandparents. We will always treasure the wonderful memories we made over the years and there were many.
