Dennis Edward Shouldice

It is with profound sadness we share the passing of Dennis Edward Shouldice, 71, at his home in Victoria, B.C. on the 3rd of November 2025. Dennis's final days were shared with brother David Shouldice and Barbara Janzen at Dennis's home in Victoria. They spent cherished time together, sharing great love and providing comfort to Dennis during his final days. He passed peacefully, surrounded by love. Dennis possessed enormous energy and an unmatched work ethic. He loved photography. He was creative and entrepreneurial, humble, courageous and self-reliant. He'll be lovingly remembered by his friends and family for his kindness, patience, thoughtfulness and sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his siblings, brother Dr. Stewart Shouldice and his wife Patricia of St. Catherines, sister Linda Waugh (Shouldice) of Markdale, and brother David Shouldice and his wife Nancy of Shallow Lake. Missing an adored Uncle Dennis are Russell Shouldice (Jennifer), Ronald Shouldice (Mallory), Rosalyn Shouldice Pagendam (Bradley), Matthew Waugh (Becky), Daniel Waugh, Isaac Shouldice (Emily) and David W. Shouldice (Jocelyn). He leaves behind Great Nieces and Nephews, Emmett, Scarlett and Breea Shouldice, Millicent and Cecily Pagendam, Hunter Shouldice, Hannah Waugh and Spencer Waugh. He will be deeply missed by his partner Barbara Janzen and her family. Deep appreciation is extended to Barbara for her compassion and loving care of Dennis since his diagnosis in June 2024. He is at peace. Predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Edna Shouldice of Shallow Lake, Ontario, and his brother-in-law the Reverend Mark Waugh, late of Markdale, Ontario. In keeping with Dennis's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound, Ontario.
