Diane Strome Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Diane Strome on March 11, 2025, at the age of 85. Diane leaves behind her devoted husband, Murray, along with a loving family that includes a sister, two sons, five grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and many extended relatives.
Diane dedicated more than 44 years to her distinguished career as a pharmacist, serving her communities with unwavering commitment, integrity, and compassion. Her professional life was marked by a deep sense of service and care for others.
Beyond her vocation, Diane embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She was an avid tennis player and skier, a talented pianist, and a keen card player, especially fond of bridge. Her faith and sense of community were central to her life; as a long-time member of Centennial United Church and its choir, Diane's warmth and friendship enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Above all, Diane cherished her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, grace, and steadfast love—qualities that touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy is one of compassion, strength, and enduring affection.
A service to celebrate Diane's life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Centennial United Church, 612 David Street, Victoria, BC.
