Lindsay,
I just found out that Don passed away last year. I called Kerin to wish her a happy birthday and she told me. I am so sorry for your loss. I loved his gentle nature and kind manners. It was such a treat for me to meet the two of you and continue a friendship for all these years. I realize I am now older than you two were when we met in Europe all those years ago. I just went back to Europe for the first time this past summer with my daughter and thought of you often while there. My heart is a bit broken hearing this news.
My best to Colleen and Ian as well.
I am sure this has been a difficult year for you all. Much love to you. Gail Hogan

Lindsay, Colleen, and Ian,
Sue and I regret not being able to attend the Celebration of Life for Don.
Ian, I have fond memories of your Dad, taking us skiing at Mt. Washington in the truck and camper, and taking us in the boat for a swim at McKenzie Bight. He always had a friendly wave and a smile whenever I would pass him on his many walks through Brentwood.
We are thinking about you and your family, and hope all the memories of your Dad help you all through this difficult time.

So many good thoughts of Don. He apprenticed with my Dad. Honourable and good men. They were good carpenters; skilled and true to their trade. Lindsay, You and Don have been important in our lives. Your casual visits meant so much to mom and dad. Lives well lived and well remembered.
