It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Doris Crook. Survived by son Bob (Hughy), daughters Merium and Jan (Carol), and granddaughters Cassidy, Suzanne and Simone.
A gathering will be held February 10, 1-3pm at the Trafalgar Legion. The family wishes to thank the staff at Age Care James Bay for their care for Doris.

Hi Jan,
So sorry to hear of your Mom´s death.
She was always so very genuinely nice to me, whether it was on the park,at UVIC or just around town. I greatly appreciated that she took me at face value & not because of bloodlines.

Doris and I became great friends while we were living at Water's Edge Village in Saanichton Bay, and continued by email and phone calls when we both left to live elsewhere.
My sincere condolences to the remaining family.
