Doris Lowres Obituary
LOWRES (Belfour), Doris Louise October 2, 1936 - January 2, 2015 Those who are loved go out of sight, but never out of mind. They are cherished in the hearts of those they leave behind. It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of Doris Lowres who passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Lowres; sister Peggy Matthews; and parents Leslie and Irene Belfour. She is survived by her sister Anna Garcia; children Donna (Rick), Diana, David, Doreen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and home care for helping make Doris's journey as comfortable as possible. There will be no service by request. A celebration tea will be at a later date in Victoria. Email for information at [email protected] In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I feel blessed to have known Doris. I always looked forward to our lunch visits and coffee dates. She always made me feel like one of her own. She will be missed but I'm glad she is at rest. Life's work well done. My love and sympathy to her family.
