I was fortunate to have worked with Doug on several of the Hudson Bay re-developments. He was a real pleasure to work with and instilled confidence in his excellent work. He was in a league all his own outclassing, outworking , and outsmarting guys and gals half his age. I'm honored I got to know and work with him. My sincerest condolences to his family.

It was a Great Honour to have Doug as part of the Townline Team for over the last 6 years, his work Ethics , attention to details, and his willing to help others if he could . This Man has my Respect, something I dont give out to often. For a man with few words , the BS, and the calling a Spade a Spade weather you liked it or not put him in a league of his Own. RIP Doug

Doug was always a treat to talk to. Even though I didn't see him often, when we did, we would always have a good chat about the good old days and catch up about people that we knew from the industry. I use to deal with Doug at Cubbon's in Colwood, and at Independent Concrete Ltd. Doug was a true legend and will be missed.

We are so sorry that Doug has left this world. Ed Stancil was impressed with Doug at an early stage of his apprenticeship. He built on this aptitude to gain and apply a level of knowledge in the construction trade that was exceptional. A man of few words who quietly achieved many complex objectives. Our thoughts are with you.
