Douglas Glynn

GLYNN, Douglas F. (Doug) Peacefully on November 12, 2006 in Victoria, at the age of 84 years. Born on September 24, 1922 he was predeceased by his greatgranddaughter, Jasmine and is survived by Marguerite, his loving wife of 63 years; two daughters, Carol (Wayne) Wicks and Laurie (Bill) Griffin; six grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Hugh (Joan) Glynn and his sister, Sylvia Long; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who kept his wonderful sense of humor until the very end. Dad was loved deeply by all his family and his countless friends. He was one of a kind and he will be missed greatly. Services will be held at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Friday, November 17th at 3:30 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined; tributes, if desired, may be made to the B.C.
