Douglas Goddard Obituary

Doug passed away peacefully in Hospice surrounded by family and friends, after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Doug was born in Victoria and lived in Abbotsford where he finished school. Loved sports and music and travelled the world playing guitar and flute with numerous bands until he had children. He settled in Victoria and worked as a Floor Layer and Courier until he retired at Home Depot. Doug is survived by his children Meaghan and Ryan; grandchildren Rebeckah, Isabella, Dominick, Bristol and Ryder whom he adored; brother Dennis (Cecile) Goddard, Denny Adrian (Predeceased sister Sharon), sister Brenda (Boyd) Stephen; also many nieces and nephews. Doug will be dearly missed. His message was to Live Life, Love, Laugh, Make Music and Play it Loud. We would like to thank everyone that helped and supported Doug and us through this Journey. Celebration of life will be in the Spring.

Meaghan we are so sorry to read of Doug's passing. We both worked with him for years in the old Dolphin days, he was a good guy.
