Ed WILLIAMS Obituary
WILLIAMS Ed passed away at home in Victoria, BC on July 6, 2003 with his wife at his side and surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, Ed is survived by his loving wife Sharon; daughter Courtney; stepchildren Sean (Carm) Plater and Aaron Plater, Jody (Mark) Johnston; grandchildren Liam, Samantha, and especially Jack who loved to play with poppy; his brother Roy and sister Sandi; nephews Scott and Gary and niece Andrea and his best friend Nick. Ed spent many years at The Queen Alexander Centre and was very committed to the youth with Muscular Dystrophy. Ed loved all sports and was very adept at playing baseball, soccer and lacrosse. Ed's life revolved around his family who meant everything to him. Celebration of Ed's life will be held in the Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with refreshments to follow in the Sands Arbor Reception Centre. If friends so wish, donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, 202 - 26 Bastion Square, Victoria, BC, V8W 1H9.
