Edward Creed Obituary

CREED, Edward Hugh Passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2007 in Victoria at the age of 85 years. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Florence; son, Mark; daughter, Susan (Colin) Cruikshank; grandson, Andrew; and many dear relatives and friends. Born and raised in Brentwood Bay, B.C., he loved the ocean and coastal life including working as a fishing guide for the family business, Creed's Landing, serving in the Canadian Merchant Navy, working on B.C. Coast Steamships, and for Island Tug and Barge and Seaspan. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed his boat, Sundowner, and was a member of the Esquimalt Anglers for many years. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. in First Memorial Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. 403474
