My condolences to the family. Mr Friesen taught me at SJWillis in the 1960´s. He was a king, compassionate teacher. I was happy when I found out he was teaching my children at Colquitz in the 1990´s. Rest in pease sir...

Sending our deepest condolences on my wifes behalf. Mr. Freisen was very kind to my wife as a student coming from a very troubled home and she will never forget him and and his kindness. I think he would be very pleased to know that she became a Christian at the age of 22 in Nanaimo.

I´m so sorry to hear of Mr. Friesen´s passing. He was my Grade 8 teacher at Oak Bay High for English and Social Studies. He was a very kind man and a wonderful teacher. I´ve thought of him many times over the years and always felt lucky to have been taught by him.
