Edward Harrison Obituary

HARRISON, Edward Albert It is with sadness that the family of Edward (Ted) Harrison of Victoria, BC announce his passing on April 8, 2021 at the age of 85. He is predeceased by his son Glenn, but survived by his wife of 64 years Diana, son Stephen (Tammi), daughter Jennifer (Vern), daughter-in-law Kandis, and grandchildren Brittany, Alyssa (Byron), Adam and Darci. Ted was born on October 7 in 1932, raised in Victoria and then graduated from Victoria High School in 1953. He had a long career working in sheet metal and the dockyard. He volunteered for 22 years on the Board of Directors in various roles for the LIYSA. He had a love of camping and fishing and travelling by RV. Many weekends were spent at Lake Cowichan with family and friends along with frequent trips across the border to visit his favorite casinos! He will be deeply missed.

Ted was a true Pioneer in Cordova Bay Soccer starting some of the very first Soccer get togethers at CB School with Des Payne; Stephen and Jennifer we are so sorry for your loss; may you take some comfort in knowing that your Dad enriched the Lives of many in the Community; God’s Speed; Ian and the Matthews Family!!
