Elizabeth LOTT Obituary

Born on November 25, 1941 in West Vancouver and passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026 in her home at the Vista in Victoria, BC, with family and friends by her side. Betti was predeceased by her best friend and loving husband, Reg, in 2003 and her beloved cat, Pumpkin, in 2025.

Betti will be lovingly remembered and missed by her sisters, Jerry Grey and Judi Pillia (nephew Michael), nephew Rob (Moe, Bruce, Jamie), niece Nicole Schille (David, Natasha, Noah), and her step-children, Stephen, Dorothy (Warren), Joanne and loving grandson, Nigel (Nicole) and her dearest friend Sue.

Betti's love for travel was predominant in her amazing career in the travel industry, as well as the countless high seas adventures she and Reg took over the years. Betti's love for life was unstoppable! A longtime member of Gorge Vale Golf Club, and active in countless clubs and sororities. She touched the hearts of many people over her lifetime and will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. At Betti's request, there will be no service, and she will be interred alongside her family in Vancouver.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Vista, doctors, nurses and VIHA workers who made her last days more comfortable.

Betti was not only beloved resident at Chartwell Vista, Betti was a cherished friend. We are so lucky to have known her. Betti had a way of turning an ordinary afternoon into a moment if joy and laughter. We will always treasure the smiles she brought to our community. It brings us comfort to imagine her reunited with Pumpkin, I have no doubt that they are sharing new adventures together.

I will remember Betty for her wonderful smile and personality plus. At one time we were neighbours before she moved into the Vista, and we were also Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Sisters of which Betty was a long time member. Betty will be be remembered by many with love.
