I join with my fellow Clementines in fondly remembering our friend Frances Gooday from our school years onward. She lived an amazing life marked by great intellect, enthusiasm, good cheer and good will and an unwavering faith. I will think of her always as a positive spirit in everything she did, and trust that she has found great peace and joy.

I´m mourning the unexpected loss of a very old friend, with many memories flooding in from earliest school and university days. Frances lived life on her own terms with strength and enduring faith. She was a person of integrity, intellect and passionate interests, some - like reading, hockey and cats - dating back to her early teens. May she rest in peace and in our thoughts.

Frances was a faithful and caring godmother to me and a wonderful correspondent through the years. She was delightfully responsive, attentive to all the details in our correspondence and enthusiastic in her passions. I will miss her and am blessed to have been her goddaughter.

I will always remember all the years we worked together on the "Anvil" The news letter for Christ Church Cathedral . She had such a strong faith. She was always so cheerful and helpful to me.
