With deep sorrow, we share the passing of Frans Freerk Vandenbrink, affectionately known to many as Dutchie.
Frans leaves behind those who loved him fiercely: his daughter Judy (Scott), his son Hamilton, his grandsons Dylan (Missie), Hayden, and Seamus, his great-grandchildren Lucy and James, his sister Grace, his brother Paul, and countless friends, neighbours, and Legion comrades.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Chemainus Royal Canadian Legion Branch 191 on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
