Frederick Knelman Obituary

KNELMAN, Frederick Harold F.H. Knelman, Ph.D. was a giant intellect and deeply caring and active citizen a powerful advocate for peace, human rights, the environment and social justice. He passed away peacefully in Victoria the morning of November 8, 2007, at the age of 87 years. Fred was the loving husband of Suzy and proud father of Kevin. He taught at the universities of McGill, York, Concordia, Simon Fraser, California & Victoria. In lieu of flowers, friends and colleagues are asked to make a donation in his name to their favourite charity or to the Peace, Earth & Justice News (PEJ.org). 314233

Had the good fortune of studying under Fred at Concordia.
When I graduated,.. there were only 2 other students enrolled in the program.
