Hello, my name is Lisa, I did not know you, however I've seen your story online. I just want the family of Gabriel to know how sorry I am that you lost your boy, he had a beautiful smile! When I first heard your story I felt your pain, my son Josh, also had DMD, at the time I told this story to Josh he was still with me. He understood his story all to well. On November 16, 2018, he too passed. I just wanted you to know you are never alone in your feelings and I hope that he and Josh are maybe some way together having fun, free from pain. Josh was 24..

My heart is so full of you, darling boy. You left us so quickly, I didn't even get to say goodbye, but held your hand as you left. Your brokenhearted Granny loves you always -- and I can just hear you now saying,"Me too," as you always did whenever I told you that.

So very proud of Gabe, he had such a gutsy approach to life while having to climb a mountain on a daily bases. Gabe had a very old soul.

I am pleased to have met Gabe - a mature, strong, confident, positive young man with a great sense of humour....Never to be forgotten!

It's been a month, a week, and a day since Gabe's passing, but it still hasn't sunk in that the spunky kid we met a couple years ago has moved on to bigger adventures. Sending love and hugs to Carrie, Ava, and Auntie M., a big smile up to Gabe, and holding you all close in my heart.
