Garth, you were always so strong minded & a wonderful brother. We grew up loving music . I´m so sorry the trip we planned to Winnipeg didn´t work out as you left us too early. I think of you every day & will always miss you.
Remembering you always

To the Hurrell family - please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Garth. I had the pleasure of meeting up with him last at the Tyndall Centennial in 1993 and the time we spent chatting about old times was and is oh so memorable. His brothers and Lynne may remember me by my maiden name of Greschuk and I once lived in Tyndall. Please pass on my heartfelt sympathy to them as well. My thoughts are with you.

I have fond memories of Garth and his family visiting my family (The Crossman's) in Manitoba. It seemed only right to pay a visit when we went to Victoria 5 years ago. That was the first time our son Ryan met Garth. Last year while visiting Manitoba Garth had the chance to have a heart to heart talk with Ryan and convinced him to join the Navy. Since that day, Garth has been Ryan's mentor and our entire family will miss his friendship, kindness and great sense of humour.

"Gergie". I can say: "Did I know Garth Hurrrell? I sure did. He was my brother".
