I first met George when he was on the Board of Directors for the Inter-Cultural Association and I was the Executive Director. He had a great sense of humour and was always thoughtful and fair. He was a big supporter of programs for children and youth. He was generous and provided food for a number of charitable causes over the years. He was an advocate for all faiths. He was a hard worker and businessman, who still found time to volunteer for the community. He will be missed by the many people he touched.

I am so saddened by your loss. Georges and I spent time together on ICA board and many committees and long hours at folk fest. He was a kind and caring man with whom I had many a discussion (not always in agreement). I know he will be missed by many as he was greatly respected in the community. May he be at peace...thank you for all you did my friend.
