Geraldine Ball

BALL, Geraldine Lynn (nee Browne) June 13, 1948 June 5, 2007 Gerry was born and raised in Ottawa and moved to Calgary in 1971 where she met the love of her life, Norbert Ball. They were married on July 23, 1973. In June of 1975, Gerry and Norbert moved to Cobble Hill, which has been their home since. Gerry leaves behind her adoring husband and sons, Norbert, Michael and Jeffrey (Lori Neufeld). She was predeceased by her dear father, Ronald Browne; Gerry will be deeply missed by her loving family; mother, Shirley Browne, brothers and sisters, Carol Smith, Jim Browne (Nancy), Jill Kinnear, Ron Browne (Alanna), Judy Vetrie (Guido) and Wendy Neumann, her niece, Lana Kinnear; in-laws, Sandra and Dick Brooke and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her countless friends. Gerry passed away at home with Norbert and Wendy by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. "Souls that love, love on forever " A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, June 12 at the Sands Funeral Chapel in Duncan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Gerry. 378314
