Marg and Ged were my parents neighbours at Hornby. They bought the property across the road shortly after my parents bought theirs. They quickly became good friends and were often at each others place chatting the afternoons away. They kept an eye on each others place (each knowing where the others key was hidden if needed) and regularly helped each other out when an extra hand was needed. After my parents passed, I continued to visit every time we were both on the island at the same time. I always enjoyed my visits and chats with Ged (and Marg). Always generous with offering to loan us anything we might need. My condolences to the family.

Chris, Karen & the rest of your family, Carol & I offer our deepest sympathies for your loss. For Margaret as well. Ged was working at Sherets when I started in 1964. He was a great guy to work with & always considered him to be a good friend. Lots of good memories! I know he will be missed.
