Gordon Alpin SMITH

SMITH, Gordon Alpin May 19, 1925 - June 27, 2017 It is with great sadness we announce Captain Gordon A. Smith's passing June 27, 2017, in Sidney, B.C. with his beloved wife Wendy by his side. He leaves family and friends to mourn and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Gordon enjoyed a distinguished and respected career as Captain in the Royal Canadian Air force, followed by a successful second Career in Aviation Insurance. Much gratitude to Doctors and Staff of Victoria General Hospital and the excellent care from staff at Resthaven Lodge, Sidney. At Gordon's request there will not be a formal service. A private remembrance will be held at a later date.
