Gustav BERGH Obituary
Gustav "Gus" Bergh, age 91, of Kelowna BC, passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2025 in Victoria. Born on April 25th, 1934 in Matsqui, BC, he was the beloved son of Bror and Kathleen Bergh.
Gus was a dedicated buyer for Safeway, working for the company for almost 40 years in both Victoria and Vancouver.
He wed the love of his life, June Bevan, and together they raised 2 children, travelled the world, and especially enjoyed cruise ship living - when they weren't golfing.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Gus is predeceased by his wife June and sisters Verna and Faye, and survived by his daughter Sandra (Steven), son Wayne (Carolyn), 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Gus will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, his sense of humour and his integrity. His warmth, big heart, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 1:30 PM at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria.

Sad to hear. I worked with Gus in Victoria and ,lost touch when we moved to Vancouver, A very pleasant fellow to work with. Thought of him many times over the years.
