Guy Blanchet

BLANCHET, (Eric) Guy
April 18, 1962 - May 7, 2025
Guy had the kindest heart. He was a gentle soul who had the best sense of humour making everyone around him at ease with his quiet presence and contagious giggle.
Predeceased by his mom Barbara Blanchet, dad Eric Blanchet, brother John Blanchet and sister Susan Moore. Guy was born in Nassau, Bahamas and spent a childhood sailing in the sun and surf with his large family before moving to Canada.
He is survived by sisters: Pam and Nina; brothers: Clark, John and Ian; nephews: Greg, Sean, Scot, Mike, Ryan, Mike and Rich; nieces: Sue, Kelby, Kira and Kathy; grand nephews and nieces: Emily, Keegan, Jordy, Luke, Maia, Theo, Rylee and Adria.
He is deeply missed by his family, friends and his IBEW Union brothers and sisters where he was part of a tight knit crew that always looked out for each other.

A Celebration of Guy's Life will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Six Mile Pub in Colwood - all are welcome.
