Harry Cross Obituary
CROSS, Harry Glenn Born in Victoria, B.C., on June 24, 1925, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Harry is survived by brother David Clive Cross, sister Sherry Regimbel and family as well as his very good friend Judy Reynolds. He was predeceased by brother Cameron Cross. Harry served his country in the RCN on the North Atlantic from 1942-1945 and was in Times Square, New York on VE day. He was a loyal Masonic member for 60 years, a Shriner, a perpetual order of Eagles #12, and a member of Royal Canadian Legion #7. He had many friends in the Northern Territory of Australia and Sydney as he worked for 13 years in Australia as a sales rep for a brewing co. In 1974, Harry barely survived Typhoon Tracey when it struck Darwin on Christmas Day and he was trapped below a collapsed house. He was one of the first bartenders in the Strathcona Hotel Lounge in 1954. An amazing special man with an incredible memory and special zest for life. He will be missed by so many!!
