So sad to hear this news. I also had the pleasure of working with Heather. She made many a trip over here to Surrey to work on the Langley Water Management Plan. She was amazing in her attention to detail and she always kept us on track. She had a passion for her work that clearly shone through. She will be missed.

Heather, my sister in Christ: my family-Daralynn, Alexandra, and Olivia-and I will miss you, our dear friend and colleaugue. We got to know each other through work, drafting the Water Act and groundwater regulation. You are a great ally for the water resource and through our work, we have also become friends. I cherish all that we shared and the personal interest you took to each one in our family...Thank you and until we meet again!

Our condolences to your family through this time of great loss.

We are so very sorry to hear that Heather has died. We worked with her for many years at the Ministry of Environment, and always enjoyed her sense of humor and friendly spirit. She was very dedicated to her job. She was taken far too early. Our deepest sympathy to her family and other loved ones.
