Helmut Hahn Obituary
HAHN, Helmut Karl, aka "The Shellman" Born in Vorchdorf, Austria on April 1, 1923, after a brief illness passed away on December 29, 2016. Predeceased by his wife, Hildegard Charlotte Hahn. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Brigitte (Jim), sons, Manfred (Vicky) and Gregory, grandchildren, Tanya-Lee (Beau), Landon, Katie (Kevin), Garret and Samantha, daughter-in-laws, Lynne, and Tracy and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Keldon. He was a kind, gentle and generous man who will be remembered for his faith, his love for his family, and his love for knowledge, shells, and nature which continued until his death. A celebration of his life is scheduled for January 6, 2017, 1:30 pm at City Light Church, 550 Obed Street, (formerly St. Matthias) Victoria, BC. All are welcome to come and celebrate Helmut's life.

I believe you used to come into the grocery store I worked at. You were such a kind and sweet gentleman and never were grumpy to us! May you rest easy and be happily re-united with your wife. Enjoy the walks on the beach up there!
