Herman WESTLAND Obituary

Herman Westland, born March 25, 1929, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 24, 2025, and will be missed by his family and the many friends he made along the way. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Ross Place and Richmond Pavilion for their care over his final weeks. He is preceded by his wife Joy; and brothers Hank and Kory. He is survived by his sister Helen and brother Jerry; his son Jeff Westland (Phyllis); his daughters Janis Tickles (Dean) and Allison Fyles (Glenn); his grandchildren Riley Tickles, Victoria Schneider, Brianna Westland, and Nick Fyles; and great grandchildren, Cove and Jettson Schneider. He will be remembered for his kindness, his many talents, and enduring strength of character.

Our sincere condolences to Herman´s family.
We will always remember him with a smile on his face. We have many fond memories of visits with him and Joy both in Calgary and Victoria. They were always welcoming. He was a very kind a warm person and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
