I remember you came to visit us in Nanaimo early 80's. When you were leaving your car started driving slowly away without you in it. You ran after the car got in and waved saying Love you Harris. We spoke about that alot after something about the car had a mind of its own. You and my Dad had so many stories that my brother and I heard growing up. You always made him laugh. I will miss you.

Class of '61: Rah! Rah! Remembering our Junior (Central), and Vic High days, and Hugh, with his quiet smile. Although living elsewhere for many years, I, and we, miss him already. -- A dear fellow, who appeared humoured, by our antics in school, and was appreciative of our 'sort of' immaturity at times. --You know: black 'elf' suede shoes; and wearing white lipstick for a time.
