Jack Doyle Obituary

DOYLE, Jack 1939 to 2016 The Leafs biggest fan is finally at rest. Jack learned young to play hockey, and followed it to the end. He loved the outdoors - running, walking, cycling, and camping. He was a family man, business man, and the love of my life. Sweet dreams, sweetie. l love you to bits, Pam

My cousin Jack, what a handsome guy! Always a lot of fun, I enjoyed his company when we last
met in Stelarton, NS at my Dads place. He shared his name with my brother Jack. Our families
were very close, his Mom and Dad were my parents brother and sister. Cousins dont get much
closer than that. Be at peace Jack. Your cousin Karen Lloyd Brohman

Dear Pam: Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more that a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts.

In my attempt to pay tribute to my late Uncle Jack I inadvertently omitted that he was also pre deceased by his son Michael. I offer my apologies to the family as well as my Uncle Jack as I know how painful Michaels loss was to him and all members of our family.

I lost my first brother in March of 1973 and my second in March of 2016. Although an Uncle by birth my Uncle Jack was always like a brother to me. Jack was a loving man, the only boy in a family of five, and a strong man of character. Many times we all listened to the times spent in the "bullpen" as he and his sisters so referred to their childhood home in Nova Scotia. Some of those stories were sad, some happy, yet all were woven in love and acceptance. I last spent time with my Uncle Jack in the summer of 2012. Living on opposite sides of the country visiting was few and far between. The times that we were together were always special and held such love and happiness that I always walked away a better person. There are few people in this world who possess that quality but my Uncle Jack was one of those persons. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn, sisters Marie and Maxine and is survived by his sisters Romaine and Marion, and a daughter Lisa. He is also survived by his loving wife Pam who he always said was the true love and meaning of his life. To say I will miss my Uncle Jack is an understatement, however he left me with the knowledge that love conquers all, family is the true wealth in life, and hope is eternal. Proof of his level of hope can be seen in his devotion to the Toronto Maple Leafs, a true devotion to hope if there ever was one. I will honour my Uncles memory by making a donation to one of the local hockey teams here on PEI. Sleep well my brother and know that I am a better person having had you in my life.
