Jacqueline LUNT Obituary

Jackie passed away peacefully just days after her 91st birthday. Predeceased by her husband Ted, she is survived by her sons David (Cheryl) and Bill (Fiona), granddaughters Lindsay (Trevor) and Gillian (Zane) and great-grandchildren Hannah and Owen. A lifelong resident of Esquimalt, Jackie and her husband Ted chose to raise their family in the community they loved. Jackie was known for her warm hospitality and willingness to help others. Her life centered on family and friends, and her door was always open. She also proudly served multiple terms as president of the Solarium Junior League, a fundraising group supporting the Queen Alexandra Hospital for Children.
Special thanks to the staff from the Waterview Unit at Gorge Road Hospital for their kindness and care. A private family gathering will be held by request.

To the Lunt Family

I was so sad to read of your mum's passing, what wonderful neighbours Ted and Jackie were. There were many get togethers of Bewdley Ave friends with such great memories.

Dear David, Bill and Family

Sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. She was a vibrant woman who was community minded and gave of her time and compassion willingly for causes near and dear to her heart.

Our parents Nim and Gurdeep were blessed with the friendship of your mom and dad. They spoke of them with high regard.
