James "Jim" Ahara
AHARA, James "Jim" Peacefully and with grace, Jim went to be with the Lord in his 93rd year. He is sorely missed and lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind, including his loving wife Daphne, sons George (Linda) and Graham (Bonnie), stepson Chris (Stella), grandchildren Sean, Stuart, Kate and Sophie, sister Claire and many other extended family members. Jim was born in England, raised in Scotland and came to Canada in 1974. He proudly served as a soldier in the military and The Salvation Army and spent many years in the police service. Jim was a talented and accomplished bagpiper, having started at age 16. He was also a life-long member of the Masonic Lodge. A private family gathering will be held.
