ROBERTSON, James "Jim" Craig June 18, 1926 - January 10, 2014 Jim was loved greatly and will be missed by his wife of 64 years, Alce, his brother Bill, his daughters Dorothy (Jack) Pollock, Kathie Robertson, and son Jamie Robertson, grandsons Jason (Liz) Pollock, Matt (Susan) Robertson, Allan (Nathalie) Pollock; great-granddaughters Elodie and Florane and nieces and nephews. The family expresses sincere thanks for the exceptional care received at the Lodge at Broadmead. Memorial Service to be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lodge at Broadmead. "Keep her afloat 'til daylight"

Dear Mrs. Robertson, Dorothy, Kathie, Jamie and your families,
Mark and I missed the notice of your husband and father's passing. We are very sorry to hear of your loss and remember him as the good neighbour that he was while we were growing up. We are praying for your peace and comfort as you adjust to life without him, until you meet again.

Jim Robertson was one of the most interesting Engineers I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and knowing after his retirement. Jimmy, was a very bright man, and any question or conversation would undoubtedly be followed by an intriguing , almost lyrical reply, full of everything you had asked, and more. That was Jim. A true character, unique, and a gentleman always. We will miss you, continue your good work Jimmy, and aspire to reach your mark. Rest well.
