Jason Hardy Obituary
HARDY, Jason William Wayne February 20, 1984 August 30, 2009 With much love and sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Jason. Jason passed away suddenly at Shawnigan Lake on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the age of 25 years. He leaves behind his mother Lynn Hardy, father Wayne Hardy and partner Jackie Jones. Jason will be terribly missed by his older sisters Tanya and Kendall; he also leaves his younger sister Paige and his only brother John. He leaves his Grandparents, Gerry and Shirley Campbell, many aunts and uncles including Norma James, Helen Boyd, William and Pam Hardy, Kenneth and Margaret Hardy, Sharon and Mark Banfield, Brian and Diane Campbell, Brenda Cowling (Steve Ferguson), Lloyd and Pat Campbell, Jean and Bob Radford and families. Jason was predeceased by grandparents William and Margaret Hardy. Jason had recently moved to Shawnigan Lake and was an electrician for Brewis Electric. He grew up in Esquimalt with his mother Lynn and sister Kendall. He attended Macaulay and McKenzie Elementary schools, and graduated from Esquimalt High in 2002. He will be forever treasured by all who loved him. Special thanks to JC Adkin, and all involved in the rescue and recovery at the scene. Staff at Victoria General and Cowichan District Hospitals and Shawnigan Lake RCMP. A Celebration of Jason's life will be held at Shawnigan Lake School on Friday, September 04, 2009 at 3:00 pm, 1975 Renfrew Road. (The old boys school). Flowers gratefully declined, any donations can be made in Jason's name to the James Bay Rugby Association at 205 Simcoe Street, Victoria, BC V8V 1K6. Dear Lynn & Kendall, one year has passed since you lost Jay, but everyday he is remembered and never forgotten. We all miss him dearly, especially his lovely smile, and sense of humour.

As Jason's Auntie Brenda , Jason always knew what he wanted. No socks for Christmas, at a young age he would be trying to fix things, carry a screwdriver or hammer as soon as you turned your back. We moved away and missed many years but I had just phoned him for a favor and yes he could help. God Bless Jason
