Dr Dooner was dearly beloved by my mum and all our family. A brilliant surgeon, he performed a miracle when he saved mum's life during very complicated surgery in 2000. He
gave her ten more years of life which we were all so grateful for. His kindness to her in the years following will never be forgotten. He was a very special human being and we are deeply saddened to read that he has passed. I hope the woolen slippers mum knitted him are keeping his feet warm in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
