BRYANT, Joan Ruth (nee Underhill) Joan Ruth Bryant (nee Underhill), born in Vancouver, BC, died peacefully in Victoria on August 22, 2021 with her children bedside holding her hands and seeing her off to her next big adventure. She lived to the venerable age of 100 years and 7 months, the last of her siblings. Predeceased by her husband John Hugh Bryant. Survived by her four children Jim (Gill), Ken, Patricia and Nancy (Guy), 3 grandchildren, Jack (Elizabeth), Noelle and Michael, and her great-granddaughter, Isla. Mum will be greatly missed for her love and ingenuity in making things; her love of science and gardening; love of a good gathering of friends and family; and her sweet smile. She was an avid longtime member of the "View Royal Daubers", a group of artistic friends, the View Royal Garden Club; and an enthusiastic collector of miniature roses. The family would like to thank the staff of Douglas House in Victoria who cared so lovingly for Mum over the last 6 years. We would also like to thank Veterans Affairs for their generosity. A private family memorial will be held at some point when it is safe to do so. Condolences and shared memories of her life may be offered to the family at
