John Dykstra Obituary

I am heartbroken to announce the death of my Dad, John Dykstra, at the age of 89 after a long and happy life. He is predeceased by his wife of 64 years Aggie and daughter Jane. He is survived by his daughter Connie, and his grandchildren Johanna and Michael. I will be forever grateful for the time I spent with Dad, the laughter we shared, the memories we created. I will miss you always Pops.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of St. Frances Manor who made Dad feel loved. They helped fill the emptiness left after he lost Mom. He loved living there.
At Dad's request, there will be no service or celebration.

Dear Connie,
I am so sorry for your loss. You were a wonderful devoted daughter to your parents and it was obvious how much they loved you by the huge smiles on their faces when you brought them to the Golf Club for a drink or a meal.
Take care my friend.

Hey Pops, Jane and I grew up so loved. You worked hard to provide for us. Loved our time camping, fishing, golfing, cross country skiing and traveling. Thank you for being the best Dad.
You are finally with Mom and Jane. Love you all.
