John. As we approach the anniversary of your untimely death, we mourn all that you were starting to bring forth at Westminster. I give thanks for all the grace that I was blessed to receive from you. I give thanks that I was chosed for that first, powerful unbinding the gospel session. Karen Seunarine

February 21 approaches too quickly, John. How can it be? and yet it is so. We miss you so very much, John, you our wonderful minister, our wisest of colleagues, and our much loved 6-some friend. We cherish your laughter when it echoes in our heart. Oh how I so deeply miss preparing the Lenten Gospel with you. Those were unique moments of sacred privilege.

One year? Impossible. Yet it is. We bless you, we thank you, and we will always love you and always miss you.

Holding Michelle and your family in our hearts and minds. Love bl

Goodbye my friend. During my trips to Canada I attempted to meet with you after forty years but these proved futile. I know that you'll be missed by all around you.

John, you are an inspiration! And what a great pal to! If we could do it all over again I wouldn't hesitate a moment - I have so many fond memories of times we had together and how often your kindness and wisdom helped me through life's challenges - a true friend and spiritual guide....generous to the core and supportive in all ways. I miss you my brother. xo

John among many other things organized Presbytery clergy retreats for relaxation. He valued connection and together with Michelle often made it happen. We honour him by remembering that legacy. ross and Jeannie White

John gave so much to so many. He was instrumental in the early foundation of Our place, without him it would not have been possible. A Christian in the true sense of the word, he carried the book and put his shoulder to the plow.
