John Konkin

KONKIN, John William January 1, 1923 – December 28, 2014 The family of John Konkin is saddened to announce his passing after a brief illness. John was predeceased by his parents, Dora and Wasyl Konkin, wife, Julia, infant daughter, Beverley, brothers and sisters-in-law Fred and Molly, Bill and Anne, Alex and Emma, brother Andrew, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann (Mike Kooznetsoff, and their daughter Laurraine) and Ethel (Andy Bowolin, their sons Karl and Pete, and Jim Carmichael), brother-in-law Peter Woykin and his wife Yvonne, and sister-in-law Anne Woykin, as well as nephew Andy (Konkin), and his wife Gail, and niece Shirley Swetlishoff Jackson. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Wade Gilson, grandsons, Gareth (Lena Browning) and Mike, brother-in-law Bill Woykin and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mary and Alex Kanigan, Helen and Steve Swetlishoff, Elsie and Fred Chernoff, Kathy Peachey, and numerous nephews and nieces. No service at this time. Private service and interment at a later date.
