John Papaloukas, affectionately known as "Pappy," beloved son, husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 10, 2025, in his parent's village in Greece. John leaves behind his devoted wife, Marvelee; cherished sons, Loukas and Alexander; brother, George; sister, Aspa; and many loved extended family members and friends.
John's boundless love for his family, friends, and community defined his life. His generous spirit and optimism touched all who knew him, creating lasting memories through his kind heart and sense of humour. From quiet conversations to laughter-filled gatherings, John's ability to form deep connections brought people together. John found joy in entrepreneurial ventures and in celebrating his Greek heritage. His legacy of family, love and connection will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.

A service to commemorate John's life and faith will be held at the Victoria Greek Orthodox Church on Elk Lake Drive starting at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. All are welcome to join in honouring Pappy's remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, a gift to your favourite charity or to support the boys by way of cheque made payable to Loukas and Alexander Papaloukas would be greatly appreciated.
