John PITT

PITT John, late of Duncan and Delta, B.C., passed away suddenly in Duncan, on March 19, 2004 at 56 years. He was predeceased by his wife Louise, and parents George and Georgina Pitt. He will be sadly missed by his sister Seonaid (David) Lamson, of Chilliwack, B.C.; and his brother Ewen (Ester) of Vernon, B.C.; nephews and nieces Graeme, Wendy and Heather Lamson and Tyler and Kiel Pitt. All who knew him will remember his sharp wit, good humour and generosity. A Memorial will be heldat Marlborough School, in Surrey, BC where he taught, on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 2:00 pm, and a Memorial Tea will be held at the family residence in Duncan, B.C. on Sunday, April 4, 2004 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm His ashes will be placed where his late wife rests in Kimberley, B.C. and where they both previously taught school.
