Joseph Puddicombe Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Joe Puddicombe, who left us on October 21, 2025, at the age of 78.
Joe was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on November 21, 1946, to Lucille and Joseph Puddicombe. He is predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Patsy, Margie, Bev, Bonnie and Brenda. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Corina (Fraser) and Christa, his son Justen, his grandson Eli, his sisters Blanche and Sandra, his brother Wilf, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will remember him with love and fondness.
Joe was a lifelong car enthusiast and a skilled mechanic whose passion for engines was matched only by his generosity of spirit. Known for his patience and wisdom, he mentored countless young mechanics over the years, always ready to lend a hand, share his knowledge, or offer the shirt off his back. His kindness to others left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
See you on the dance floor, Dad.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held at Coombs Fairgrounds Arrowsmith Hall, 1014 Ford Road, Coombs BC on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 11:00-3:00. Family friends, and all those whose lives he touched are welcome to join in honoring his memory. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Camosun Automotive Program at https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donor-form/?svcid=renxt&formId=744ef7df-2a47-4d8b-bcb4-f88717bc35d2&envid=p-OPpKugVhg0i7jksoCrMlHA&zone=can.
