Joyce GUSTAFSON Obituary

GUSTAFSON, Joyce Ardis Passed away peacefully at Broadmead Lodge on February 1, 2012 in her 79th year. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan on April 19, 1932 she was predeceased by her parents, Hilda and Arne Jenshus, and sister Elsie Jean Jenshus. She leaves her loving husband of 55 years, Norman; children Wendy Skinner (Ken), Brady Gustafson (Maria), Shirley Leggett (Rick), Nancy Hashka (Lloyd), and Carolyn Schaddelee (Jack); and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Leonard (Fran) and family. A very special thanks to the staff at Broadmead Lodge for taking such wonderful care of her. A private remembrance will be held by family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or The Lodge at Broadmead. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.mccallbros.com 648386

I was so saddened to read of the passing of Joyce today. I remember many years of being your neighbours on Marin Park, and how she was such a lovely lady, always keeping her home beautiful, and busying herself with her family. She always had a kind and caring word for me. May love surround you at this difficult time.
