Joyce was born 93 years ago in Regina Sask. She was the only child to Alfred and Anne Jones. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Patton, and 3 children Brian, Kevin and Sharon Ball. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Stewart Ralph, daughter-in-law, Marlene Patton, grandchildren: Cindy Patton (Michael Mickelson), Jackie Bouveur (Ron), Tyler Ralph (Alicia), Casey Ralph, Jenny Hindley, Jessica Patton (Marshall Rooney), Karli Ball, Kristina Harvey, Matthew Ball (Allison) also her little grand puppy Cali. Great-grandchildren: Megan, Nathan, Hayden, Ruby, Zach, Alexa, Hudson, Whittaker, Lewis, Donovan, Makayla, Charles, Evelyn, also family in Scotland.

Joyce and Lawrence lived in Halifax, England and settled in Victoria. She did many things in her life: taught Sunday school (St. Aidan's Church), hostess for weddings (Holyrood House), swimming instructor (Crystal Gardens), Licensed Practical Nurse (Gorge Road Hospital) as well as volunteered for Capital Mental Health. Joyce liked having fun. She was a member of the Legion, enjoyed lawn bowling, golf, bridge and especially loved going to Shamrock games with her son Kevin and best friend Mary Wright. Any time she had a chance to go for lunch or breakfast with her family or friends, she was on it. Most of all, Joyce cherished her family and friends.

Our family would like to thank her condo neighbours on Church Ave, the staff at The Beacon Hill Villa, the staff at The Heights at Mt View, also Dr. Chris Morgan and Dr. L. Woodburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice, Mom's favourite charity.

Our beloved, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend…her love will live on.
