Jozsef Szauer Obituary

SZAUER, Jozsef (Joe) January 4, 1934 - April 1, 2015 Joe was born in Veszprémfajsz, Hungary. In 1957 he settled in Victoria where he met his wife, Piroska (Ruby). They were married for 51 years till Piroska's passing on November 9, 2009; also predeceased by his brother, Jancsi. Joe enjoyed working with his hands and mastered a multitude of skills. He also loved salmon fishing and was a big hockey fan. He is survived by his children Joe (Michelle), Maria (Derrick), John and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan, Natasha and Collin; also his brother, Frank and sister, Bözsi; cousin, Steve (Stefi) and many relatives in Hungary. There will be a celebration of Joe's life on Thursday April 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, in Victoria, with a reception to follow. We will all miss him very much

Maria, Joe, Johnny & family,
