Karl A. Griffiths

GRIFFITHS, Karl A. March 22, 1931 - March 23, 2018 Friday March 23, 2018 marks the passing of Karl Griffiths. He passed away peacefully at the home he loved surrounded by the family he loved. Karl was born in Victoria and worked at B.C. Tel for 35 years, but enjoyed retirement for the past 32 years. Karl is survived by his wife and companion of 63 years, Rosemary Griffiths, and their four children Stephen Griffiths, Sandra Varley (Rick), Sharon Guy (Garry) and Susan Wiggins. He also had five greatly adored grandchildren Robbie, Samantha, Jacob, Morgan and Michael. Karl enjoyed spending his time fishing, travelling, gardening, and walking his dog "Jigs". When visiting Karl you were always greeted with the biggest most welcoming smile and his grandkids always stated that "nobody hugs like gramps". He will be truly missed. At Karl's request, there will be not service but instead a quiet family gathering at a later date.
